Its Starting to Look a Lot Like ...

Christmas  and ...

stockings (some made decades ago) are hanging from the dresser knobs.

Poinsettia and Nativity Scene

I wanted a table top Christmas tree with branches that have lots of space for pretty decorations. I will be cutting about a foot off the one we did pick up this week.

... and no I haven't decorated it yet.

The ceramic Christmas Village my sister gifted many years ago joins in.

Front door wreath and outside lights added. DGS helped with the front and I did the one bush on the far right. Glad he was here to help.

  2. Grandsons and grandchildren do come in handy sometimes!! I hung up some colored lights this afternoon in the guest room just for Louis Dean. He goes in there in the middle of the night when he can't sleep and he also takes naps in there. He loves colored lights and I usually use white ones.
Merry Christmas to YOU!!! It DOES look a lot like Christmas at your house!

  5. Joy, my Christmas tree is only half decorated, so don't feel bad! I have been slow as molasses getting holiday decor done this year as I was sidelined with a sinus infection the first week in Dec. But, you know what? Whatever I manage to get done will be enough!

Happy Christmas to you and your family! And a Peaceful New Year!
