Paris Stencil for Christmas

While organizing my stencils this week I re-found a stencil ordered from Muddaritaville earlier this year (and never used !)

Made two signs this week.

Favorte old decorations, the vintage Blow Mold Snowman and a tree topper - Christmas treasures with the square tray Paris stenciled.

Stenciled PARIS No. 1 with a Wreath

Stenciled Paris on the back of a painted ASCP White  cheese server, here displayed on a silver tray, before adding waxes.

Clear waxed the round sign with ASCP Clear Wax and then tried out CeCe Caldwell's Aging Cream.

Applied with the tip of my finger and moved the wax over the sanded edges. The wax brought out the scratches on the old cheese board.

Sequence for stenciling:

Supplies for the round sign:

old round cheese board painted ASCP White
CeCe Caldwell Beckly Coal
ASCP Clear Wax
CeCe Caldwell's Aging Cream
clean rag
masking tape
stenciling brush

Displayed the Paris sign outside on the front porch.

Stenciled Tray: PARIS sign in a square 'tray'

lightweight square tray painted ASCP White
CeCe Caldwell Beckly Coal
ASCP Clear Wax
stenciling brush
clean rag
masking tape

Gathered the old Snowman blow mold, a vintage tree topper and battery white lights with the tray.

 Love making signs with stencils

Thank you for visiting today.

  1. Such attention to details! Your final pic is magazine cover worthy!

  2. I love that design, oh so French with the bee

  3. Hello, the Paris stencil is very pretty. Lovely project. Cute Christmas decorations. Enjoy your day and weekend. PS, thanks for visiting my blog.

  4. Don't ya love when you find something you forgot about or haven't used yet? It's like an early Christmas present. They look great Joy, I love the texture the wax gives it and softens it. Very pretty!

  5. That stencil is fantastic and you did a great job. Love the piece, thanks for sharing.

  6. Got a kick out of your "finding" a never used item. So me! We should be neighbors as I know we'd be best friends. We even seem to buy all the same products. I'm going to find an old cheese board around here and paint it, stencil the leaves and the no 1, and if I actually get that done without losing my focus and misplacing it, I'll buy a bee stencil and think of your inspiration piece every time I look at it!

Thanks for visiting. I read and appreciate all your comments. Joy
