Dreaming of gardening? Dreaming about your bee hives and that wonderful honey? Reading seed catalogues? Planning your garden? Starting the seedlings?
Found a metal screen with attached candle holders (removed them for another project), a Hall teapot (no lid), a pair of candle holders that had been wearing those pink flowers, a wooden camper made by Bob and two mugs (for my tea) in pink.
The Butterfly Pyrex casserole and the well oxidized four sided grater were thrifted from the 'vintage' section of the thrift store on the 50% off Saturday. It is amazing how things that were just 'thrifts' have become 'special vintage' in thrift stores. Tupperware snap top individual servers are minus their snap tops - I always hope that I will come across some in my travels.
As February progressed a few more garden decorations were found at the thrift store.
The brown low plant holder (or maybe a trivet) in the above photo now has an addition - I added GARDEN with CeCe Caldwell Antique White and clear wax.
The stencil is from Muddaritaville Studio. I used this stencil in January here.
I did find a large enough board at an Estate Sale two weekends ago and when I actually make the sign I will post the entire ... stenciled Garden Sign.
The substantial oak tray background for the brass vases and candle holders needs a bit of steel wool cleaning and an addition of hemp oil.
February's Thrift, Polish and Share Project
Picked up two small wooden garden decorations at the thrift store.
Here are the table and seat - before (on the deck after a snowy day).
Sprayed them with Mrs. Meyers Clean Day and wiped with a clean damp cloth.
Just the right little pieces to get ..... wait for it....
