My friend Judy came to visit and we painted up a storm.
Frames, little table top cabinet, boards, small table/stool, faux ladder, ornamental little fence piece, wooden faux ship wheels.
Judy painted the 1st layer on everything then had to head home to WL (almost a 7 hour drive).
I finished the 2nd coat and touch-ups, (colors used: CeCe Caldwell Simply White and CeCe Caldwell Santa Fe Turquoise), all projects clear waxed and buffed.
Faux Ship Wheel Stencilled
Added some of my favorite words to the faux ship wheel wall decoration. The before was an unpainted craft faux ship wheel.
Little White and Turquoise 2 door cabinet
Added a few small collectibles, love the little metal sheep, very vintage. The Royal Winton chintz pieces are from a tea set.
White Fence Background Piece
A little homemade four legged wooden table found at a garage sale last fall had about 1/4" tilt on one leg so it has been in a pile of things that needed some help. It had a dark stain finish. Judy gave it one coat of turquoise and DH used a piece of a door framing small wedge (what a perfectly great idea) that matched the slope, cut out the small piece with a flat saw plus a chisel and that was the fix for the tilt. Glued, clamped and then nailed.
I gave it a second coat of CeCe Caldwell Santa Fe Turquoise - and stenciled Welcome to my GARDEN (stencil from Donna of Funky Junk Interiors), 2 coats of clear wax/polished. It went to my booth on Monday.
Thanks for visiting.
