Below is a kindling holder, pair of vintage white gloves, a french themed small sign, bellows, copper pan and a sock darner.
The hat reminds me that it is Robbie Burns Day on Wednesday January 27th this year.
A small project made from stuff from the free table at the thrift store - a banner for children.
The vocabulary cards are in French and English, blocks with holes through the middle and the bundle of blue/white cording were all found on the thrift store free table.
Polished cotton in bright pink showcasing an extendable black metal hook, polished brass candle holders, two egg cups with pink roses and a pair of Italy salad servers, all from the thrift store
Pink and pretty. Copper glazes, pink gloves.
Kitchenware, a Johnson Brothers Fruit Sampler Platter, 3 blue flowers on white egg cups, a Johnson Brothers Hearts and Flowers cereal bowl, dark wooden spoon, one cup measuring scoop with green and cream paint on the wooden handle, a round and a four sided grater, white and red well worn enamelled roaster and a salt and pepper hen set in a basket, all vintage finds.
Blue bird, framed print of a blue chintz cup and saucer, vintage Apothocary Jar, (translated as Red Poppy Petals) and an ornate naturalistic blue teapot
Vintage Mix - an well used individual school chalkboard, one glass salt shaker, a Grindley England Laburnum Restaurant Individual Condiment (sans lid), a lovely hand turned vintage rolling pin, a crocheted doily (which I borrowed for this picture) and a small glass basket (almost invisible) sitting on the top folding cookie tray.
Quick peek again at the January thrifted finds.
The blackboard framed a faded plastic lined artist's bag. It came with pastels, watercolour paint set, 3 sketch books and 2 letter sized canvas.
Always fall in love with art supplies when out thrifting and I know it is getting time to start sharing the growing collection with others, perhaps an art teacher or after school program.
Partylite holders, lovely.
Some very happy little finds.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the beautiful apothecary jar!
You made some great finds in the thrift shop! I have been staying out of them since I'm downsizing but you know I'll shop again soon!
ReplyDeleteGreat, great finds! The Estate Sales are really hot and heavy here. It's too unpredictable weather for garage sales yet. Won't be long!!

My faves: the blue teapot, wooden spoon, bellows and copper pot. Oh, and the Johnson Bros fruit sampler platter. Fun finds!
ReplyDeleteI love the bluebird. They are one of my favorite birds. We had bluebird houses, but the storms that came through a few years ago blew the trees down where we had them.
ReplyDeleteI need to build more houses.
Jilda loves those antique dishes. We have a few, but she would have many more if we could afford them.
OH MY GOSH you found everything I want, especially the blue and white egg cups and the artist bag, Good finds for sure
