Easter, Spring and Eggs go well together this week.
I cleared off a bit of counter space and had some fun stencilling.
First I made a SPRING sign.
This was the sequence. I under-painted the board with several chalk-clay colours and topped it with Simply White.
Planned my sign on paper (used ABC 3 inch letters) and used that as a guide for stencilling SPRING on the board.
I took my SPRING sign over to my booth.
Next up was a Fresh Eggs 25¢ sign.
Below is the finished Fresh Eggs sign with Pysanka eggs on a mirrored tray.
This is the sequence I used for making the Fresh Eggs 25¢ sign.
Row 1: Old Bamboo cutting board with a thin coat of Simply White, plus a 2 inch ABC stencil, planned on paper.
Row 2: Taped the bottom edge space for each word and the beginning/end of each word. Used the Paper Guide for reference. Started stencilling each letter.
Row 3: Removed tape as needed. Finished sign waxed.
Fresh Eggs sign in my booth.
Thanks for visiting.
Happy Easter
Hugs
