Tool box - needed 'something'. Sunshine helped too.
I used the same method to make the tagboard (well, an old yellow file folder) letters T, L, S from the original GROCERY stencil seen here at Getting Creative With Stencils and used the plastic O. Cardboard isn't the greatest preserver of sharpe edges, I prefer a heavy plastic and am contemplating trying to cut the letters out with a sharp blade on plastic (home made) letters.
A peek back at my first GROCERY sign.
I bought my GROCERY stencil from Donna of Funky Junk Interiors.
I tried out a makeup sponge with the paint this time (same hint - use a piece of rag/paper to blot.
Maybe I need a larger size sponge, the small end is a small grip area, but it worked ok. I also made another try with the HERBS stencil I made using my sister's Silhouette Cameo here First Try Stencil Making.
Thank you for visiting today.

I choose a font on my computer, print words or letters out on cardstock and then cut the stencil out.
