Once a month I collect my favourite thrifted finds to share. This month some of those finds found their way an earlier post here.
The Lawn Bowling Garage Sale (which they hold in their club house once a year) had some nice pieces.
Carnaby Tempo Casserole Pyrex England
Sprayware glass bowls Retro Red Phoenix Pyrex
Chef Ware England

Press glass butter dish and lid, some pretty little egg cups with decals, a little painted Easter Egg, a colourful bird paperweight and two little (modern) lanterns.
A pair of Castanets (hanging from a banana stand). I got that idea from more than on inventive blogger.
I also displayed the Sadler Creamer and Celebration Roses mug from the same stand.
For the photos in this post I used my smaller portable lightbox. Thankfully I found a correct light bulb for the clip on lights that came in the set. I used my tripod, did my best with the lighting, and I can see I have much more to learn. The black backgrounds were taken using my home made lightbox.
I used PicMonkey to brighten up the photos, frame and watermark (although my watermark in simply text over photo).
A few silverplate pieces from the Lawn Bowling Garage Sale, lots of fun and choices and great hosts (several sweet ladies and even a couple of gentlemen).
Polished the silver plate after the photo session.
Thanks for visiting.

ReplyDeleteI just found your blog tonight & am really enjoying looking around. The things you found in this post are beautiful. I love Pyrex & enjoy seeing Engish Pyrex since it's usually new to me. I also found some other blogs to check out. I would love to subscribe by email but didn't see it offered. I hope I just missed it but if you don't do it would you consider it? Either way I'll keep reading. Thanks
ReplyDeleteHi Deb - I don't have email subscribe. I do post at 7 am Sunday and Thursday if that helps.

Lovely items and finds. I like the chef Ware and the cute glass bird! Have a happy day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI really like those red pyrex dishes--my favorite kitchen color! Happy Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteI have a butter dish and lid like yours but we pay an arm and a leg for butter wrapped in quarters in Ontario which is something I stock up on when in the US. A great haul of fun things again.
ReplyDeleteLooking at the silver you picked up .....I have a lot that was inherited and I'm wondering what to do with it? I've kept some trays that I want and do use but is there a market for it?
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Joy.
Lots of great vintage shares! I am glad I was able to stop by and say hello. Happy Easter and have a wonderful week.

Happy Blue Monday!
Hi Joy ... Some wonderful finds. Sprayware red glass bowls are beautiful ... I have not seen those before. Pyrex is always good. Thanks for sharing your finds. Your pictures are really nice. I have used a light box ... not easy with large items, but you get clear pictures.
