First try at painting an apple basket.
Looked pretty well used up on first glance
White washed outside then painted the bands.
Added three stars, traced with felt pen and painted with a 1/4" brush, wiped off a bit of color (sanding just spread the color onto the white areas).
Waxed and polished bands and stars.
Display for greenery, plant holder, blanket storage...
