Natural wear vintage chair seat mixed with vintage kitchenware.
Always looking for pyrex. This pair received the oven cleaner spray after I took the photo, caustic stuff so use outside, wear gloves and a mask (or at least hold your breath and move away quickly). Does a great job at removing baked in stains.
Used PicMonkey Winterland frost to soften the edges and framed with drop shadow plus simple edge.
A few tin blasts from the past - a Dukes of Hazard lap tray and some repro Campbell lunch kits.
It has been a while since I found small clocks, garage sale + thrift store finds.
Glass collage - each photo taken at a different time of day, what a difference in lighting. I see that I have much more learning regarding light boxes and ISO.
Napkin holder with many uses.
Thanks for visiting.
See you again on Thursday

Hi Joy,
ReplyDeleteYou've got a treasure find going! Thanks for sharing today. Love those beautiful blues.
Happy Blue Monday!
Great finds! And good cleaning tips. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteJoy - Great shopping this week!! Didn't know you could clean Pyrex with oven cleaner. Good hint. Thanks.

I have my mama's cornflower blue corningware. Still use it and love it.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds, love the Dukes of Hazzard Tray how fun, as well as your casserole dishes. I am hoping to take up treasure hunting this summer with my family. :)
ReplyDeleteI do wonder where have all the tiny clocks gone? I received both of those casseroles new for a wedding gift. When did my stuff become vintage? Love your finds.
ReplyDeleteOh your shares are terrific! I was at the thrift store. I found a beautiful teacup and saucer from England for $4 and a bright red chair for "Ella" my pretty doll that I keep close by. The chair was $2! I am loving that cleaning tip for the Pyrex. Did you know that Anchor Hocking and Pyrex are still USA made? I love it! All these wonderful vintage items. I receivd a set of Pyrex casseroles for a wedding gift too. I still have many pieces. Enjoy your week and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! Love the clocks!!

I don't have a light box, but I use foam core board (white or black) as back drop for my photos and often have the problem with the background coming out gray. Photographing glass and white objects is always a problem for me.
ReplyDeleteHi Joy--love all your finds! Especially the kitchenwares and the clocks. Hope you're having a great week :)
ReplyDeleteDiana
Too funny! I have the little purple tea pot and the napkin holder with blue flowery fabric. Looks like lots of good finds!
ReplyDeleteYou did good Joy ... great selection. The colored glass pieces are beautiful and I love the old clocks. I can see that you are really enjoying your photo box.Your photos are very good. I have a photo or light box, but a nuisance to set up and so much of what I photo is too big for it.

Hi Joy, I hit a thrift store today for the first time in a few weeks. Love the hunt! lol! Found a few treasures, but not a lot. You have been bringing home the goods. I have that top Pyrex that I received at my wedding 42 years ago. Still use it all the time. Thanks for sharing with SYC. I've never used a light box, but probably should learn how.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
I really love those clocks! I had such a crush on Bo Duke when I was a kid....
