Maybe I should be worried, because all of this great junk is still in my possession.
a worn and rusty two handled logging saw (?), one handle missing
a great Turquoise Rocket metal wagon, rusted
old golf clubs, vintage sewing basket and a piece of driftwoodcan't remember 'what it is' but I love the metal/wood mix and the inventive construction, edge of an old egg carrying box and the worn corner of a window
a pile of great junk, nails I left out in the rain a rusty shovel and a pile of hinges and junk with rust
a great score of oil containers and relanted junk
one of several boxes of vintage dusty sealers
rusty grater, inside of a tin box and a close up of an old typewriter complete with spider webs and stuff
I feel totally rich with this great collection of junk.

I love your pile of rusty goodness. I have a thing for old scissors, managed to grab a unique pair when Mom was downsizing. My Rhodos started to bloom, so you are right, Spring is here!
ReplyDeleteLots of rusty fun coming your way. I can't wait to see what you do with everything.
ReplyDeleteoh Joy ... lots of good stuff there. I see some that I sure would like to have to re-purpose ... the old saw for one. I am sure one of these days you will be dragging some out and make something special.
ReplyDeleteHappy days.

Okay, Joy!!! WHY does YOUR junk look so good to me??? So artsy and smartsy??? I have some of the very same junk and it just looks like JUNK!! Take that pile of nails. I should say Louis Dean has the same junk! I wonder if our back corner of the yard will EVER get cleaned up where we can put up a swing set for the quads? Perhaps that will be the motivation to get it done!
ReplyDeleteHi Joy,
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you got to play today. Thanks for the extra effort.
Happy Blue Monday!
There are some treasure in that 'junk' for sure! I do love some rust.
ReplyDeleteFun stuff...rust makes everything better :)
ReplyDeleteI'm smiling as I read this, Joy. Just thinking how my mother would think I'm out of my mind for thinking rusty stuff is cool, much less paying money for it. LOL. I do like the things you showed us, and especially am drown to the vintage sewing basket. My mother had one just like that. Long gone now. I'm on the look out for one. ~ Nancy P.S. That turquoise Rocket wagon is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI stopped unloading my junk treasures to come see yours. How delightfully rusty and crusty they are. So many wonderful finds, I do not think I can choose a favorite, but the turquoise wagon is up at the top.
ReplyDeleteJoy,
