For many years DS and DGS and I have gone Christmas tree shopping, often from tree lots where we can 'cut our own'. This year - they surprised me by carrying the tree in the front door.
Close up of a few ornaments
Found a few sweet pictures. 2007 Tree Farm (DGS is 4 here)
2011 Tree Lot, DGS is 8.
And now DGS is 10. The years have flown.
Tree decorating buddy (below, age 4).
The lighting of the tree has remained a favorite DGS activity at Christmas time. This year he got to do all the 'plugging in' as well as being my cohort/boss when putting the lights on the tree.
The grand dogs were over during our all-day snowfall on Friday and were very playful in the back yard. They managed to make tracks everywhere.
Happy memories from the past and new memories from the present. Warm hugs.
See you again after Christmas

I like the special glint of the purple lights, and your many special ornaments. It's so neat to have a series of photos over time of the tree-hunting trips.
