Saying Goodbye

My dear little Mom's funeral is today (Thursday) at 1:30.
My prayers for all Mom's family and friends,
and especially Dad, Mom's beloved husband.

Mom would have sung the hymns with all of us today,
she remembered all the words when singing.
92 1/2 is a goodly time on this earth.

Mom knew she was loved.
She told everyone I love you
all during the last 15 years of her Alzheimer's time.
So very grateful that she was a gentle lady
and that her spirit remained gentle towards everyone.
We always told her we loved her and that she was our love too.
Dad told Mom he loved her every day many times and
she always said I love you right back.

Family and friends are gathering at St. John's Church
to say goodbye, to visit a bit over tea after Mom's funeral,
and after Dad has has a rest,
the family are having dinner together.

  1. Blessings to you and your family for the lost of your Mom...May she rest in Peace...May the Lord also be with you all...with love Janice
