Cloche and Spring Decorations
Found a glass cloche and wooden base at the Flea Market on Saturday. I've been waiting to try out a remake on a base and finally got to try adding a graphic to a painted surface.
Before
Painted the wooden base with 3 coats of chalk paint
(CeCe Caldwell Simply White).
Copied a Graphics Fairy 'Paris' and bit of fancy lining.
Used the graphite rub and pencil trace along with Sharpie black in both fine and regular transfer/color in method. Sanded the black text lightly when dry. Waxed with Minwax paste.
A before and after. Great for small and short collectibles display.
Finding cloche glass is a favorite small hobby and tweaking the wooden tray was a pleasure. Fun to have a new display piece.

Hi Joy ... that really looks cute, never thought of putting a graphic inside one of those. I just love them for display. Sometimes I find just the top and it looks great on a pretty plate. I like them because they are small. Some cloches are so big. Thanks for sharing this great idea. Your graphic turned out just perfect.
