Loved the turquoise and cream basket weave sewing basket (and it came with lots of white buttons too). The small metal blue and white stapler has joined my office supplies in the kitchen desk.
Typewriter looks great but isn't really in shape for typing much. Lovely small size, intact, name was missing. Set of Vintage Junior Encyclopedia.
I am documenting the PicMonkey frame sequence I used in several of these photos - Winterland Frost with a simple border and a new font Unkempt (Valentines) for the watermark. Frost and Unkempt are in the premium (4.99 a month) PicMonkey collection.
The white buttons were collected 'over time' with the addition of the buttons found in the sewing basket above, and I decoupaged flowers from vintage/mid century modern wedding shower gift cards on the lid.
Love finding some vintage tins and boxes.
Finding hangers with advertising is always a treat. Mammy Jane's recently wrote a post about her vintage hanger collections here.
The green chintz Arden Burleigh Staffordshire water jug was a lovely find (but the handle had been repaired and I didn't notice until I got home - it is a good repair).
Found a Baileys Boy cup as well as a Federal butter dish.
Light on the thrifted finds this month but all the pieces (except the stapler) have gone into my booths at Village Antiques Mall.

ReplyDeleteI love the water jug and the basket! Thanks for sharing at Submarine Sunday!
ReplyDeleteLove your new finds Joy. That pitcher is just beautiful and even if you can't sell it because of the repair, I am sure you will enjoy it. When I think of all the old wooden hangers I have given away, I cringe. Yes, Mamie Jane really has some unique ones ... some of which I have never seen.
ReplyDeleteHappy days.
Hugs,
Audrey Z.
