I picked the 'easiest' piece first. It just needed cleaning, a bit of sanding, some paint (and should have started with primer-sealer first) and some Satin Varithane to make it back into the furniture fold.
Here is the before. You've seen these D shaped small tables many times. They continue to be popular - good for a lamp or coffee cup or a pile of books. Easy to move around. Fits into small spaces.
Washing - done
Bit of top sanding - done
Painting - started
After 2 coats of CeCe Caldwell Vintage White
had to dig out the Zinsser Primer-Sealer Stain Killer Bulls Eye 1-2-3 to cover the bleed through from the original finish, mostly on the turned edges, inside of top, parts of top ...
Added a final coat of CeCe Vintage White.
Painted outside today, a sunny 14 Celsius,
needed to dry inside before adding the Satin Varithane
Finished.
Afternoon project
with DGS at home for lunch, grocery trip,
gave ride from Automotive Shop
and school pickup/drop off trips mixed in.

Oh my gosh, I have this same table and painted it just like yours about a year ago. Love it and yours too. I know it is old because I have had it since the 80's when I found mine in an antique market in Indiana. The owner said it was very vintage then. Your looks so pretty next to the chair. Have fun and Happy Creating. So enjoyed my visit.

Love your table and how you staged it with the vintage ornaments next to the chair. We call these demi-lunes (half-moon) tables. They are very popular around here. I paint one every two weeks. Now I want to know more about this painting season you have. I did not know we could stop for awhile! :>)
