Remembering with gratitude my roots.
Good memories. Today is the day to write the Alberta cousins and Aunties Christmas cards. FB and phone keep us in touch.
A rare family photo - my Grandparents and their children - precious memories. Thank you Elizabeth and Harold for starting your family in Canada.
Favorite Memories.
What a wonderful photo, Joy. I like paperwhites but I have never had them in my home. I have had Christmas cactus but my hubby never liked it. At one time, I had a house full of beautiful plants but over the years they died off and I never bothered replacing them. Got too busy, I guess, raising my family. I admire anyone who can grow them. Thank you for sharing with my HOME and have a wonderful weekend.

I love that photography, what a beautiful family! I wanted to try paperwhites but was afraid of failure so didn't invest any money in one. Maybe next year I'll be brave! Mary
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy to have precious photos. I planted my paper whites last week in my grandmother's silver bowl.
ReplyDeletePaper whites are so beautiful.

I'm loving the older family photos more and more as the years pass by. There's an innocence there that I want to recapture. You paperwhites are coming along so well!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love those old photos! True treasures indeed...

Love this post Joy! Such a wonderful family photo and I adore paper whites - they evoke memories of my mom for me. Yours remind me that I still haven't picked up any - I can't seem to crank up the snail speed I'm coasting on over here these days.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
Paperwhites are one of my favorites too.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour photo is wonderful....everyone all dressed up and standing together. Most of our old photos are the same...some standing near the family car.
