8 degrees celsius yesterday, balmy. Went out to the shed to look for things.
Friend Peaches wanted to play ball. Multitasked.
Took a few pictures of leaves and buds.
This morning - frost on the roof tops, frost on the grass, slippery front steps.
Do you remember this picture - January 14, 2012, snow?
Top, left to right etc: lilies, bee friendly bush, blueberry bushes and Peaches and iris.
Peaches playing chase the ball, snowdrops, tulips, daffodils,
and from last spring, tulips, daffodils and lots of weeds (something to look forward to).
My walk around a very soft and waterlogged back yard
while checking to see what is up.

  1. Peaches... cute name. Sure wish we had snow. Your grass is green, mine is brownish - we've got St. Augustine Grass - it's dormant in winter. Thanks for the walk around your garden.

  2. I have a friend named Peaches. However, she is a woman. It's a nick name. Not surprisingly, her given name is Georgia.

    But I digress...
I enjoyed seeing the sights you and your Peaches saw on the walk. I'm trying to calculate in my head how warm 8 degrees celsius is.

  3. Your garden will look so pretty when those bulbs are full grown....Christine

  4. Love going on the backyard walk with you. So happy to see some green growth and possibilities of Spring flowers.
    Audrey Z.

  5. Oh it is wonderful to walk through your backyard with you to see the signs of spring! Thank you for sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,

Thanks for visiting. I read and appreciate all your comments. Joy
