Somewhat Simple Strut Your Stuff
This one involved a trip to Michaels. All punches were on sale 40% off, so I picked out 3. This post uses the circle punch, two pieces of glitter scrapbook paper, scissors, a reel of 1/4" width cream coloured ribbon and Krylon Spray adhesive (plus newspapers to keep the glue off other surfaces.
The first picture is the 'finished' ornaments.
Learned how to 'not' cut off parts of a circle.
It was warm enough to work outside so
I spread newspapers on my glass table
lined up the disks in silver/gold sets
cut the ribbon to various lengths
sprayed the circles (about 8 at a time)
placed one end of the ribbon on the back of a disk
and topped in immediately with the second disk
I stacked the finished disk/string ornaments
and weighted them (with the punch)
for 30 minutes.
Then I 'hung' them for a picture
(may add to the tree when I put it up).
Very pretty! This would make a nice craft for the grandkids!
