This has been a good year for finding vintage cameras. This is a second Brownie find and I am 'letting it go', it is now in my booth. The others are boxed up waiting to become a display at home. Here is a link showing a large range of Brownie Cameras.
Very cool! I'm just starting to collect cameras. The prices seem to go pretty high on them at auctions lately, but I keep trying!

My Grandmother had one of these cameras exactly like the one in your pictures. She carried it everywhere for years and years and it took great black and white pictures even though it had been held together by a rubber band for as long as I knew her to have it. Simple is sometimes just the best.
ReplyDeleteI love vintage cameras, they are a fun thing to collect! Laura - Cottage and Broome
ReplyDeleteThose are neat looking cameras. I've picked up a few old cameras in yard sales through the years. I think I gave them to my niece who collects cameras.
ReplyDeleteI imagine the Brownie was a significant family investment in 1925.
I would love to find one of those cameras some day!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
