I'm planning to paint the cupboard and then figure out where it can go. I took a 'post writing' break and started to catch up on reading all the posts I follow, and just as I was thinking about storing and cleaning up my paint supplies, Kristin of My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia wrote about Paint Organization. She got some of her ideas from an earlier post by Brooklyn Limestone: Simplifying Our Stash., timely, and very helpful suggestions.
So, here is the cupboard, and below, the 'in use' paint and supplies that are currently in 5 different locations. Seems like a solution to a problem, just need to figure out the 'where'.
I walked around and took pictures of my 'active' stash
of paint and related supplies
(furniture painting supplies, not even touching
on house/fence paint).
That cupboard has a lot of potential! With the glass doors it would be a great place to display a collection of sorts. You have annie sloan paint? I would love to try it sometime.
ReplyDeleteI would certainly have bought the cupboard, isn't it too nice to be used for paint storage?
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by earlier.
Oh, I definately would have bought it!! And I agree with Maggie, I almost hate to see it used for paint storage. Maybe once you cute it up you will think of a place for it.
ReplyDeleteI'd have bought it too, it's awesome! I don't know where I'd put it either, but even if you just hang it in the garage or a shed you'll like seeing it when you get out your paint supplies.
ReplyDeleteI would have bought that too but not for paint storage
ReplyDeleteYou have quite the stash of paints!! Is the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint very expensive?
ReplyDeleteLOVE the cabinet. Of COURSE you had to buy it!
Great bargain, would look great cleaned up and painted and then used anywhere, but if paint storage is what you need, then that's the best use for it! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou could "artistically" arrange the paint cans. :@
