School Desk, Annie Sloan Paris Grey and Wax
This is my first ASCP on furniture using the finish of dark wax over clear wax and chalk paint. I used a sand sponge to clean the desk of varnish chips and dust after giving it a good dry brush scrub to remove the spider eggs and webs.
This project, spaced over three days, took an estimated 3-4 hours to complete.

Oh my goodness! You've been so busy. It looks great, what a dusty dirty project. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteI just bought a desk like that a few weeks ago! I've been wanting to paint it, but wasn't sure - you've inspired me! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove the transformation. How did you like the AS wax? I have heard mixed reviews on them.
ReplyDeleteJust used clear wax (Rexall floor).
ReplyDeleteI would like to try both AS waxes sometime.
