Vintage - Wooden Butter Churn

Another Welcome to Jami from A Freckled Laundry - a new follower (and I follow her blog too).

What is in a name? Here is a blog with the name: A Vintage Green Life by Gayle. She is an artist with small found metal objects of all kinds, memory jugs, created necklaces, wood and objects memory boxes and much more, re-purposing (and likely a lot more that I have yet to read about on her blog).

Vintage Wooden Butter Churn

Found this back east, about 1975. Brought in home in the back of our white VW Bug. Along with the tent, sleeping bags, air mattresses, pots and pans, dishes, clothes and assorted other small finds. We were really just beginning our collection of vintage.

My Dad built a flat top for the churn - and it does make a great place for a mug of coffee or a cup of tea.
