This rest of this posting is the first in a short series about very old Transferware. This Gothic shape teapot circa 1840's is not marked. It has a repaired spout (2nd photo shows the mend most clearly). The coloration and stains as well the the evident age show well on the 'bottom' and 'inside' photos.
