In reverse, the 2010, the 2009 and the 2008 Christmas Trees. This year I grouped and stored all the vintage decorations and donated those bought for the preschool years. What we used this year are the 'family, homemade, year, and 80's on'. We've moved past accidental breaking but not yet ready for the fragile. Each year is a rediscovery with a child. We are so fortunate to share the life of a grandchild. I did break the tree topper last year and was able to find one similar in January. Its like using the 'best' dishes. I would rather be the person to break something than someone else. That way I can deal with the issue and not have others worry.
