A Snippet of a Sunny Saturday

Early morning garage sales. Drives down lanes, up through new subdivisions, down old residential areas. Spring everywhere, green, pink and white and lilac blossoms and sunshine.

In my backyard the small ornamental Plum tree blossomed overnight, the air is short sleeve warm and smells fresh and there is a light breeze. It is such a pleasure to dry the duvets and blankets on the clothesline and open the doors and windows.

Making Time.

There was time to relax with tea and a book on the back deck. We had supper and a good catch up visit last evening with Dave And Sally of Off The Grid who were in town for the week.

Saturday afternoon was time to deal with the garage sale finds; clean, take photos, research and write up this fresh stock for my booths. I wiped the cutting board with hemp oil to freshen it, filled a jar with the wooden spools and borrowed a small green cup and saucer from my collection for this photo.

DH did a small repair on a small teacart, I found the candle sconce at the thrift store and it is always nice to find a small grandma themed cushion.

You do know I found more things at the garage sales than I shared just now and I will be posting April thrifted finds later in the month.

I hope you found or did something that makes you happy today.

Thank you for visiting.
