Thirfted Finds Mid October

Welcome back to Thriftasarus. This is a NEW Sunday Link Up for Thrifted Finds. Drop over and give him a Welcome Back to Blogging.

Welcome back to Brooke of Creative Country Mom's NEW  Friday Flea Market Finds First Party

Always love sharing thrifted finds. This time the finds are a mixture of very vintage as well as whatever we found on our one day road trip Friday plus a (very) few garage sales.

Cameras and Leopard were from the same home, a smokers home. Residue smell really clings. They are currently airing outside under cover.
The Pilsner glass phone was pretty unique. Couldn't find anything online about it.
Some china, glass, pottery.

A sweet nappy with a metal handle

Vintage decanters, silver plate salad servers and a silver coloured ring holder with an embroidered table cloth behind.

Vintage kettles and some Pyrex, JAJ pyrex and Fire King plus the egg beater and rolling pin

A once in my garage sale history - a garage sale selling old (not newly old) SIGNS. Grown up son was selling them cheap! and Mom was saying 'too cheap' and he ignored her. Happy dance. The Menu is a black board.
I was thrilled to find this two sided sign with hooks in place for hanging. I washed the sign after I took the photos. The letters are plastic stick-ons, a very sharp look.
I cleaned the signs, chalked in any missing bits on the Menu sign. The chalkboard sign has OLD duct tape residue that was not going to budge so I left it alone.
Signs on their way out the door, heading for my booth.
I used Photo Collage for the Jim Beam Bottles photos, emailed the final collage to myself and then saved it to iPhoto and opened it with Pic Monkey for editing.

Thanks for visiting.

  1. Love so much of what you found. I have an old Jim Beam bottle from Hawaii that was my Dad's, it's very cool.
