June Thrifted Finds 2

Church fund-raising sales. Garage Sale season. Recycling, upcycling. Repurposing. Fodder for projects. The season for collecting material for projects, stock for booths, additions to the home.

I found two separate collections of shells on Saturday. Some are being displayed in jars and a few are big enough for summer display.

I used my small folding light box for the photos today. I bought another tripod (garage sale find) on the weekend with more weight than the one I usually use and it has a nice swivel/tilt that I am enjoying.

It has also been a week of finding small treasures that had been stored. The Cherished Teddy's made a pretty grouping.

Always nice to find a good stoneware (USA 8") bowl. The 'humour' mug is by Liverpool Road Pottery. The toast rack is Heron Cross Pottery.

The silver plate biscuit tin (above) shined up well.

Couldn't resist such a happy teapot.

The metal pencil sharpeners were a nice find, the cat/crane is one I have never seen before.

The airforce figures are composite (and repaired at the ankles). The wooden dolls are Kokeshi and the white dogs are vintage Snoopy (cold paint long gone), all re-found treasures.

Who could resist such a sweet face donkey - a nodder with a broken spring (re-found).

Thank you for visiting.
