Garden Update

Blueberry season. Mmmm.
Just down the road is an organic blueberry farm and I like to freeze enough to last until the next blueberry season.
I underestimated again this year and ran out in April.

Below are a few blueberries from my own small group of 4 bushes.

Planting dahlia's in mid June means very tiny plants (and 4 no shows, but I keep hoping).

The peas are mostly over and I underplanted them with sweet peas and pole beans.

Tomatoes, many different varieties,
finally one green tomato has been created.

My small garden today.

I planted bush beans and carrots last week
but it is too soon to see any growth.

  1. Your garden looks great! I planted two tomato plants this year for the first time in a long time and have had tomatoes galore for the last month. The wet weather has sure slowed them down tho.

    Happy eating!!

  2. I just love blueberries in cereal. But it's SO expensive in the store that I don't buy it anymore.

  4. Yummy! Love blueberries!
Dahlias are delayed here too. Usually plant them directely out in April/May. Only planted some in pots, but they did not sprout until june. Had to start the rest in the greenhouse, and plants them out these days.
