Ukrainian Pysanka Eggs in a Jar

I have a small collection of various lovely hand painted Ukrainian Eggs and wanted to display a few safely.

Vintage sealers + Ukrainian Eggs = Pysanka in a jar

You can see more of these beautiful Pysanka Eggs here (pictures below are from my April 2014 post).

  1. A pysanka (Ukrainian: писанка, plural: pysanky) is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist (batik) method. The word pysanka comes from the verb pysaty, "to write", as the designs are not painted on, but written with beeswax.

Mammogram on Tuesday result was 'come back in a year'.

I did a happy dance.
2 years cancer free.
I know, TMI.

See you again soon.
