April Thrifted Finds

Early April had very few garage sales, fortunately last weekend seemed to be the 'beginning of the season' plus there was a local 'church' sale.
A didgeridoo, vintage dolly, three games and a Batman lunch box were from last weekend finds as were the china and glass below.

I did find a small truck and two home made wooden totes in a thrift store.
More thrifted finds.

It was a treat to find some mirrors last weekend as well as a small display cabinet.

Always a bit of a challenge to photograph mirrors. I put two sheets of white paper in front of the larger mirror.

Thanks for visiting.
I will be back on Thursday.

  1. A Batman lunchbox! You totally rock! I had the same problem trying to take pics of a vintage, very shiny GE toaster this weekend. I didn't do as well with it as you did with the mirrors.

  3. I had to chuckle at your Batman lunchbox...here is why :) I stopped by the local mission store a week or so ago for PRACTICAL reasons...looking for curtains / linens for sons new home. So, in the front window I spied what I thought was a vintage telephone! The old black ones...ones like my grandmother might have had. I excitedly asked to see the phone ( there is usually a horrible glare from the sun and you can barely make out what is in the window ) and when they brought it to me it was a repro Batman phone! LOL ! :)

  4. Love the wooden totes as much as Batman's lunch box. I am reading a mystery story and the bad guy has taken the little girl's Batman lunchbox. Holy coincidences, Joy!

  5. I'm kind of scared to go to garage sales. I might end up loving something and where on earth would it go?
