February Thrifted Finds

Garage sale season is getting closer and there were two in February, one in WhiteRock on the same day as the  By the Sea Flea Market (1st Saturday of each month) and one moving sale found when out driving on errands. Makes a nice addition to the Thrift Store finds.

Second favorite find this month is a well used Apple Shaped Cutting Board.

I love finding stoneware. This piece has a lot of wear but no mark.

Favorite find this month - lots of 'use' staining,
Royal Crownford Ironstone "Wheat" Creamer/Pitcher

Pottery Butter Dish/lid Waechtersbach Germany with Beehive mark

Well used Thermos Lunch Kit

French Enamelware Milk Jug (lid lets the steam from the milk escape so no boiling over).

Vintage sewing basket with thread and a darner and some kitchenware.

A bit of whimsy

And a bit of snow (at 8:30 am today). Late February snow in the Lower Mainland, Coastal BC is not usual. 3rd day of snow, not heavy, just steady.

  1. Love that little elephant! And the snowy photo is gorgeous! Can't go wrong with a good weathered-wood building.

  8. The Crownford pitcher is my favorite. My friend sent me a photo of her 4 inches of snow just outside Victoria. We got only a dusting across the Strait. I don't miss it!

  9. Stopping by from Katherine's Corner. Fabulous finds! It will be awhile before yard sales start up here in Montana, but I can't wait to see what people need to get rid of! Sue
