February Finds - Thrifted
My favorite thing is my frame covered in a piece of light cloth that I use as a backdrop for many vignettes.
Hints of April with this bright yellow little chick and egg cup.
Copper pieces found in early February.
Liniment bottle with original contents.
One piece and handles on a rod rolling pins.
Daylight and time of day sure makes a difference when taking pictures.
Above is evening, below is daylight.
A very sweet Mother's Day framed poem and a Fire King Snoopy mug.
Little pots for melted butter.

Wow, lots of great finds. I am a sucker for egg cups.
ReplyDeleteThat little chickie reminds me of being a child and visiting those stores and seeing all the new little chickens in pens. What were those stores? Oh yeah, feed stores I think. Their feathers were so soft.

Joy I love the idea of a framed 'backdrop'! Great idea! I'm going to do that for sure. You take great photos. That little figural egg cup is adorable.

Love the Snoopy mug!
ReplyDeleteMy mother's house was filled with "what nots". That's what she called them. When she died, several of them came to me. Each time I notice one on the mantle, or on my desk, they remind me of her.
ReplyDeleteThe copper crab just stole my heart!
ReplyDeletePopped in from Pink Saturday.

That's a smart idea, Joy. I have a couple of pieces of foam board that I use for Etsy shots. I think having a consistent backdrop is a great way to showcase your finds.
