Oh Claudia, this is SOOO my new Favorite

I spent the last week comparing weight, price, kits, consumer guide results as well as reading such good camera 'how to...' from Pioneer Woman, Funky Junk Interiors, Mockingbird Hill Cottage, Cozy Little House and Centsational Girl (my favorite camera savvy bloggers).

Today I did it.

Yes Claudia, I did what you did.

125 shots later I noticed that your party had been open for 1 1/2 hours. Edited in PicMonkey and whoops they are now charging $4.99 a month for the premier features (regular features continue to be free).

My beloved LUMIX which is going to continue as my pocket camera was my first subject as the focus with the 50mm lens,

then the pen was the focal point. I have a lot of practicing and learning ahead. Happy.

Took about 25 shots with the three different lenses of this deco server and ended up using the 50 mm lens picture.

Took this one with my LUMIX. The beginning has been fun.

I needed a new interest and chose this Canon (mid price) for weight, (29 oz) consumer guide (72) and reviews of bloggers who take great photos for their blogs.

I noticed that this is my 700th post. Its been a learning and personal growth experience.

Merry Christmas to all my blogging friends.

Sharing with Claudia of Mockingbird Hill Cottage. I am pretty sure I know how she feels about her new Rebel T3i.

  2. Lovely shots and enjoy! I got a good camera when my grandson was born. Mostly because his daddy was in iraq ( he was here for the birth then had to return ) and I wanted to post lots of pictures and videos on Facebook for him to see.

a bazillion pictures of my grandson later, lol..I still usually just use the manual mode. Indoor pics are hard...I know that i should get a tripod and really try to do better one of these days...so I know that yours are already phenomenal !:)
