Tweaked and Thrift Finds

Welcome back Selina of Apron Thrift Girl. Thrifting this weekend was kind of wood and metal rustic. Thinking fall vignettes, picked up 12 various sized grape vine wreaths.

{ps: Scroll way down to see a quick tutorial on Tweaking Sealer Tops}

Found old tractor seats, nicely rusted and a very old restaurant potato chip cutter that would make a good shelf display in a commercial setting.
Well worn wooden boxes and books are always great props too,
and finally a little bit of pretty.
Thrifted finds from the weekend.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and then there were
Sealer Tops needed for my jars of small collectibles.
Soooooooo
Very little tutorial on how I tweaked the lids.
Supplies
Mod Podge, small paint brush, scissors, a piece of white cardbaord,
a piece of 1920's newspaper and sealer rims.
ps - Did you know that PicMonkey added more great fonts?
How
I traced the metal rims onto the cardboard and the newspaper, cut out, put Mod Podge on the cardboard, added the newspaper circle, painted on more Mod Podge
(let it dry and added a 2nd coat).
When dry pushed the circles into the metal frames and topped up the jars of collectibles. This time it was marbles, dominos and blocks.
