The Olde Farmhouse Vintage Market (Maple Ridge) Part One

A mini-holiday for me today.
Only discovered last night that there was going to be a Vintage Market in town; The Olde Farmhouse Vintage Market. First time.
Great venue, lots of light, space and a clean cement floor in two building side by side.
Good parking, well organized, very gracious hosts and many helpers.
Excellent vendors. Hope to see # 2 next June (or maybe even sooner).
I took lots of pictures (asked first) and
picked up lots of business cards with blog addresses too.

Cee-Cee Paint at Home Hardware in Maple Ridge - great news! - yes, did buy Satin Wax, a brush and two tins of paint.

... and bought burlap, happy dance.

  1. Ah such fun, looks like there is lots of choice.

What is Cee Cee paint? Is that a chalk paint?

  2. I haven't tried it yet but the samples looked like the Annie Sloan Chalk paint that I've been using. I just love it when something I use (chalk paint) is available locally.

  6. Joy, your lovely collages make me feel like I was there. Only I wasn't and I a little sad about that! Beautiful post.

  7. Now I saw the pic of that "Vintage" Red Trike and started to laugh. Used to have one like that when I was a kid but I am laughing becuase I bought a brand new one like it in Toys R US for my grandson not too long ago! :)
