Dutch Chip Carved Board

Welcome to Laura @Whats For Dinner Mom and Recycleista

This post has such dark pictures of dancing dutch girls
that I am going to add just a bit of colour.
Vintage organza ladies hanky. Flowers.
Delicate, fresh as the day it was made (also from the Church sale)
and the last picture in this post is a vintage crocheted small faded green runner
shown on burlap and canvas.

So, here are the set of dark pictures.
Antique. Carved. Chip Carved Board. Lots of wear.
Carved date: 1/20/05 = January 20, 1905
I can't find any information on dutch dancing girls chip carving online.
The faces of the girls are pretty grim.
This chip carved board is another find from that great Church sale.

Just to lighten things up again, here is another well loved, mended crocheted small dresser scarf.

I love the evidence of careful mending (brown coloured thread on aqua).
Picture taken outside, on fresh drop cloth and old burlap sack. Love the contrasts.
