Small Treasures

Collections take all forms and one of mine is small collectibles. They don't take up much space, they can be layered, put away for awhile, held in the palm of your hand, treasured.
I have two small dolly size vintage patchwork quilts (more very old than vintage) and a real slate chalkboard among my favourites.  One little collectible is a piece of petrified wood.
The Mickey Mouse napkin ring is repaired (with that old yellow glue).

  1. I love this idea. I have a few vintage type things but I'm always stuck on how to display them. I'd love to know if you have any ideas for glass bottles. I have a ton and they are sitting in the attic but they get so dusty sitting out that I haven't messed with them. Any ideas?

  3. You're tiny quilts are wonderful. I'm in the mood to quilt these days or maybe just to look at all the beautiful quilts (in all shapes and sizes) out there. Baby goes back to school this weekend - I plan to catch up on your renovations & posts. Happy Weekend.

  5. Joy, the dolly quilt is gorgeous. I am going to have a go at making one for my granddaughters baby doll, hopefully then progress to a larger one if I get the hang of it.

  8. I love tins so your little Johnson and Johnson tin really caught my eye. I'm not sure I've ever heard of adhesive plaster before. It is like first aid tape? It doesn't matter what it held, it is very sweet.
