A blogging friend, Brenda from Cozy Little House

This post is especially for Brenda who loves red. Her wonderful blog is Cozy Little House. Brenda's photography and writings draw me back every day. She also finds great new bloggers and introduces them on her blog on Fridays (and sometimes even on Sunday's).

Brenda is a writer and photographer who catches the hummingbird in flight, meanders the by-roads, gardens and creates and shares her discoveries. She writes about her home and shares her photo's and thoughts with her many followers. Brenda offers sound advice on 'how to' for new bloggers. She is also a book reviewer.

Brenda blogs (taken from her Adv page) daily about a variety of subjects. Mostly home, garden, nature, pets, and crafts. I also blog about my organizational techniques and small space decorating on a budget. Indoors as well as outdoors. I am also interested in other subjects like thriftiness and repurposing, the environment, sustainability, and living a greener lifestyle.

I spent some time Sunday morning walking around Village Antiques Mall taking pictures of 'red' for this post and added a bit of home with flowers and garden tomatoes so that the collages below are full of vintage and red.

Thank you Brenda for sharing your home with your blogging community. Best wishes on your 'very soon' move to the Little Blue House, another adventure. Looking forward to reading and seeing your journey.

Best Regards,
Joy

  2. I love all the reds, too, Joy. Is there a chalk paint in red? (I know, not very "chalky")

  3. Red, yes. I am looking at a photo of the color chart and I see a pinky to red, a red to dark red and a dark red to very dark red (depends on the waxing finishes).
