A bit of Easter fun with Picnik and Teapots

A really great day today (wrote this Thursday). ProD at school so DGS and I weeded and dug soil and then went to Amsterdam Garden Shop and picked out flowering plants and vegetables. A bit of keyboarding practice, some home reading, some fence repairs (hammer and nails and time to do as he pleased fixing things). Some math on the computer. Weeding chickweed, lots of it. Digging holes. Throwing the ball for Peaches. Even got lucky enough to be outside in shirt sleeves for awhile. DGS has his own area of the flower garden. Together we planted his choice of flowering plants in the color order he wanted - pink, blue, yellow, blue (even found the bone meal after a winter of storage in a weird storage area). Got one lavender and one carnation plant in my garden area too. Lettuce and broccoli and sweet peas are for another day. Grandma is bushed! And very happy. So happy that the first teapot picture has a happy Easter Egg frame. The second has a small butterfly and the last I left alone. Picnik has a lot of fun additions that steal time and  look cute. Usually I don't do cute.
