Vintage Green Glass

Welcome a new follower,  Linda from  Itsy-bits-and-pieces.

The partial set of Dolly Dishes in the photo, looks somewhat like Rose Cameo. SusieMax has clear pictures of Rose Cameo Glass, and  About.com Antiques writes that "Cameo is by Hocking Glass Company circa 1930-1934 and is also known sometimes as "Ballerina" or "Dancing Girl" pattern."
I thought the small dolly covered dish was a serving dish but I've seen several lidded butter dishes while looking for a pattern name. I am not positive on the pattern identification for these dishes.

The green glass hobnail lamps are beautiful. I couldn't find any examples on-line. They are from a collector in his 80's, collected by his late wife. I am only guessing the 1930's, old silk covered wiring.

  6. Love seeing these, Joy. My Greatgrandmother had green & pink depression glass in her summer cabin in the mountains - unfortunately everything was lost in a flash flood in the 70s. No one was hurt, but everything was lost - except the sweet memories of being there with her when I was small. :)
Hope you have a lovely week,
    Zuzu

  7. Hi Gail - I love the light reflecting through the glass.

Hi Zuzu - good memories. I loved my two grandmas and have such loving memories of the times I was lucky to spend with them.
